Short Film Bhagat Singh to be screened at Punjabi University today

Patiala: Punjabi short film “Bhagat Singh” will be screened at Kala Bhawan of the Punjabi University (Patiala) on the second day of the two day film festival at varsity campus. Directed by Jasbir Singh and Pardeep Singh, “Bhagat Singh” is based on historic meeting of Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh and Shaheed Bhagat Singh, details of which were recorded in compilation of Bhai Randhir Singh’s letters in book Jail Chittian.

On Wednesday- the first day of the festival, the screening of OutJusticed 2 documentary was held in a jam-packed hall. The screening was followed by a brief address by OutJusticed 2 director Parmjeet Singh, after which queries and comments from audience were also accommodated.

The organisers of the festival said that the movie Bhagat Singh will be screened at 5 pm at Kala Bhagan and it will be followed by interaction with the movie director Pardeep Singh.
