Sikh Author Bhai Ajmer Singh’s Book on Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Released at Sarabha Village

Ludhiana: A new book on Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha was released yesterday at his ancestral house in Sarabha village in Ludhiana district. The book titled: “(Toofana Da Shah-Aswar) Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha“, authored by Sikh writer Bhai Ajmer Singh, was released by Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha’s family heir Bibi Satwant Kaur.

Later a function was organized at the auditorium of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha College where Bhai Ajmer Singh and Rajwinder Singh Rahi (author of Komagatamaru Da Asli Sach) addressed the gathering.

Bhai Ajmer Singh said that the historians who had written the history of Gadhar Movement had largely ignored Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha’s role. He said that while studying the writings of Gadhris, he realised that Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha was not just one of the prominent leader of the Gadhar movement, rather he was a great historic personality with extraordinary capabilities.
