Chandigarh: A three member delegation of the All India Sikh Student Federation (Peer Mohammad) on Monday submitted a memorandum for visiting Canadian Prime Minster Justin Trudeau through the Consulate General of Canada in Chandigarh, urging PM Trudeau to recognise the face of ‘Sikh Genocide 1984’.

In its memorandum the AISSF (Peer Mohammad) has stated that it has collected relevant data from all over India pertaining to the victims of November 1984 Sikh genocide. The president of the AISSF Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad is of the believe that “after Indian sub-continent, Canada is the second country in the world with high concentration of Sikh diaspora.”
“Sikhs are a respected and proud citizens of Canada because of which they can expect that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will certainly help and assist the Sikh Panth in getting justice for the tyranny inflicted upon them by the Indian state.”
“In the past Canada has recognised the massacrew in Armenia, Rawanda and Bosnia as genocide,” he further added to his statement.
