Sikh Forum to hold Lecture meeting in Delhi on June 1st to pay homage to martyrs of June 1984

New Delhi, India (May 26, 2013): It is learnt that in remembrance of the 29th anniversary of June 1984 attack on various Sikh Gurdwaras in Punjab and adjoining states the Sikh Forum is going to hold a lecture meeting to pay homage to the martyrs of June 1984.

It is notable that in June 1984 the Indian army had invaded various Sikh Gurdwaras including Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. This armed attack was code-named as “operation blue star”.

As per information the Sikh Forum is going to hold the lecture meeting to pay homage to the martyrs of June 1984 on 1st June 2013 at 5:30 PM at Lecture Room – I, Annexe, India International Centre, 40, Max Mueller Marg, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

As per information Col. Nirmal Singh, Former M.P. S. Tarlochan Singh, Sikh Historian S. Ajmer Singh, Dr. Maheep Singh, Senior Advocate H. S. Phoolka, Dr. A. S. Narang will speak on the occasion, whereas Maj. Gen. M.S. Chadha (President, Sikh Forum) will preside this meeting.
