Baba Baljeet Singh Daduwal was allegedly declared proclaimed offender (PO) by Dabwali court in five years old case. It is learnt that a case under Section 307 was registered on July 16, 2007 in which police booked a dozen Sikh protesters including Baba Baljeet Singh Daduwal.

A group of Sikhs led by Daduwal allegedly attacked the cavalcade of Dera Sauda Sirsa head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Insan, when the latter’s cavalcade was passing from Ghukanwali village of this district.

According to certain media reports Baba Daduwal was also wanted by police in blocking national highway near Chormar village in 2007.

It is notable that Punjab and Haryana police has arrested many Sikh leaders for opposing blasphemous activities of Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) but on the other hand dera head who is facing criminal charges of murder and rape in various courts is getting state patronage and sophisticated Z+ security cover.
