Simranjit Singh Mann Welcomes Panthic Assembly Resolutions

October 23, 2018 | By

Fatehgarh Sahib: The Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (Mann) president S. Simranjit Singh Mann today welcomed the resolutions passed by the ‘Panthic Assembly’, which concluded on Sunday in Amritsar.

In a written statement issued in Gurmukhi (copy available with the Sikh Siyasat News) Simranjit Singh Mann said that the assembly should be discussed and resolved on other issues concerning the Sikhs and the Punjab in addition to the issues on which the resolutions were passed on Sunday.

S. Mann said that it would have been even more better had the Panthic Assembly discussed the issue of merger of Chandigarh with Punjab and re-annexing Punjabi speaking areas with the Punjab that were kept out during reorganisation of the state in 1966. He said that the Panthic assembly should have exposed the plan of Indian state to commit genocide of Sikhs by triggering war with Pakistan.

In his statement S. Simranjit Singh Mann said that a ‘sovereign Sikh state’ should be formed as a buffer state to end the hostility between Islamic Pakistan, Communist China and Hindu India. He said that Panthic Assembly should have discussed this issue.

His statement enlists various other issues, including violation of riparian rights of Punjab, loot of Punjab river water, displacement of Sikh farmers from Gujarat and allocation of land for raising memorial of Shaheed Satwant Singh and Shaheed Beant Singh at 7 Race Course (Safdarjung).
