Amritsar: Dal Khalsa has predicted that after handshaking with the pseudo Sirsa cult, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) will meet its waterloo after Feb 4.

Notwithstanding the outcome of the election result, the Dal Khalsa proclaimed, “the Sikhs would not allow the Sirsa dera to do any sacrilege act or anti-gurmat satsang anywhere on the soil of Punjab.

Party president H S Cheema and spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh said God fearing and devout Sikhs will teach Badals a lesson for hobnobbing with the anti-Sikh elements and also for deviating from the path of righteousness.

They said the support that Badals have managed from Sirsa dera and in lieu of which, they had given assurance to felicitate dera’s satsang in Punjab was in total violation of the hukamnama issued by Five Takhat Jathedars’ on May 17 and then on 20th, 2007.

Blaming Sukhbir for conniving with dera Sirsa head Gurmeet Ram Rahim, they said the Badal family has completely ditched the Panth. This naked handshaking may proved to be the “final nail in the coffin”.

They said it’s established now that the “politically managed” move to pardon Dera Sirsa chief by disgraced Jathedars’ in Sep 2016 was engineered by Sukhbir under a secret deal. They held Sukhbir responsible for the turmoil in the aftermath of so-called pardon.

They said since 90’s SAD (Badal) under Badals have deviated from the panthic objectives. “First they dropped the Sikh agenda and stopped articulating Sikh aspirations. Now they have shown their back to Akal Takht”.

They urged the SGPC chief Prof Kirpal Singh Badungar to perform his role and responsibility boldly to re-establish that religion is above politics.

Dal Khalsa leaders said that these last minute measures will not save the sinking ship of Badals.
