Patiala, Punjab (August 25, 2014): Just few hour before the counting of votes of Patiala byelection were to begin, a sad news struck the family of Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) candidate Bhagwan Dass Juneja. His son namely Gurpal Juneja passed away as a result of heart attack.
According to Punjab Timeline, Gurpal Juneja, 43, died within few moment after cardiac arrest. He will be cremated at Bir ji cremation ground of the Patiala city.
In wake of the tragidy, Patiala winning candidate Perneet Kaur has reportedly directed her supporters not to celebrate her election victory and expressed deep condolence with Juneja family.
