Amritsar (December 25, 2016): The Fateh March was taken out in the city to mark respect and pay rich tributes to Four Sahibzade’s, Mata Gujri ji and other martyrs for their supreme sacrifices.

The call for the march was given by five Singh’s who were removed from the post of Panj Piyare by the SGPC. Those who accompany them include Dal Khalsa head Harpal Singh Cheema, spokesperson Kanwar Pal Singh and SYP head Paramjit Singh Tanda and AISSF head Karnail Singh Peermohammad.

The march started from the Gurdwara build in memory of Bhai Garja SIngh and Bhai Bhota Singh and culminated at Akal Takhat after performing ardas at holiest place.

While addressing the youth, Harpal Singh Cheema said death at the altar of religious commitment is a prized possession of the Sikh people.

Cheema said the spirit of martyrdom exemplified by the fifth and ninth Guru and Sahibzade’s serves as a beacon light for Sikhs to stand up to tyranny and subjugation of successive governments over the last 500 years of Sikh history.

Kanwar Pal Singh said that the tenth Guru sacrificed his sons for the sake of the Panth but today’s leaders were sacrificing Panthic interests for the sake of their sons.
