SSF and Panch Pardhani to support Punjab Bandh call.

Fatehgarh Sahib/Patiala (October 26, 2009) Terming it as an unimagined Catastrophe, the Sikh Students Federation declared that the Sikh genocide of 1984 was unbelievable, unforgettable and unforgivable. ‘The victims of this massacre are not some Sikh families that suffered loss of lives and property, rather this inhuman program has victimized the whole humanity’ says a press statement issued by SSF secretary, Baljeet Singh.

SSF has extended its’ support to ‘3 November 2009 Punjab Bandh’ call given by various Sikh organizations to mark 25th anniversary of third holocaust of Sikh history, in which thousands of Sikhs were massacred at various places in India after assassination of the then prime minister of India. ‘WE, the Sikhs, believe in justice & equity but their no justice for victims of November 1984 genocide even after 25 years.’ said SSF President, Parmjeet Singh Gazi.

On the other hand Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, General Secretary of Shiomani Akali Dal (Panch Pardhani) informed SikhSiyasat Network that Panch Pardhani has issued an appeal to the people to Punjab to observe complete bandh on November 03, 2009. He said that Sikh Nation should unite on this issue and traditional organization too contribute to this common cause.
