Students Gathering by Sikh Students Federation at Punjabi University Patiala Patiala (October 14, 2009)
Patiala (October 14, 2009) Sikh Students Federation, premier organization of Sikh Students in Punjab today reorganized it’s Punjabi University, Patiala unit. At a gathering of University students held at Open Air Theater located in the campus SSF Unit president Surjeet Singh Gopipur tendered his resignation. It is notable that only students can hold offices in this organizations and Gopipur has completed his studies. The General Committee of the Unit accepted the resignation and unanimously elected Dalbir Singh (M. Sc, Botany) for the post of President of SSF Unit. Eleven member committee re-organized at this event include Avikal Goyal (Law Department), Bhagat Singh (M.A Religious Studies) Jagrup Singh (M. Sc, Economics), Gurdeep Singh (Journalism Department), Kamaljeet Singh (Law Department), Parvirder Singh (Management Department), Jarman Singh (Law Department), Akashdeep Singh (Law Department) and Sandeep Singh (Music Department).
