Chandigarh: As per reports emanating from New Delhi an unidentified man opened fire outside Jamia Millia Islamia University, the site of the ongoing protests against contentious CAA. The shooting that took place on Thursday (Jan. 30) left one student wounded.
In a video posted by The Indian Express, the man brandishing the gun can be heard saying, “Yeh lo azaadi…Hindustan zindabad…Delhi Police zindabad.” Delhi Police personnel were present when the shooting took place.
As per reports, the man has been detained.
