ECI to announce schedule of poll battle in Harayna and Maharashtra

New Delhi, India (September 12, 2014): The Election Commission of India is expected today to announce schedule of upcoming state assembly Elections in Maharashtra and Haryana. The EC will hold a press conference at 4:30 pm and make the announcement.

Chandigarh, Haryana (September 6, 2014): Four days after president of Haryana unit of Shriomani Akali Dal Amritsar (SAD-A) Ajit Singh Kahlon reportedly expressed gratitude to Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda for formation of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) and reportedly extended support to Haryana congress for upcoming assembly elections, the party today issued show cause notice to Kahlon and asked to file a reply within a period of 10 days.
