The girl died. She must have fallen very hard when her tormentors threw her off the bus. She was only 13 years old, a student of Class 9. The men, employees of the transport company encouraged reportedly by a group of young male passengers, made sexist remarks, repeatedly harassing her sexually. She resisted, fought them back. No one came to help her, except her mother. She too was sexually harassed. She pleaded with the driver to let them off the bus but he paid no heed. The daughter was violently pushed off a speeding bus and then they pushed off the mother.

Dhudike/ Moga, Punjab (November 26, 2013): Following the tension that prevailed in Dhudike village of Moga district between followers of Dera Sauda Sirsa and the local Sikhs, the police administration has reportedly targeted Sikhs on the complaint of dera followers. It is notable that the police had resorted to firing in the air, lathicharge and bursting of teargas shells to disperse members of both groups following and altercation between the two groups.

Moga, Punjab (November 26, 2013): It is learnt that the situation at village Dhudike (district Moga) took serious turn after Dera Sauda Sirsa followers attempted to hold a gathering despite opposition from the local Sikhs. It is notable that the Sikh sangat is opposing the dera sauda activities since 2007 in accordance with directive issued by Akal Takht Sahib in wake of anti-Sikh activities of the Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief.
