Amritsar, Punjab (October 05, 2013): According to media reports the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has registered a body named “SGPC USA Incorporated” under the US Law. It is notable that SGPC is a statutory body in India and it's prime task is to manage the affairs of Historic Sikh Gurudwaras in Punjab and adjoining states of Haryana, Himachal Pardesh and Chandigarh.

London, United Kingdom (September 22, 2013): It seems that Indian state agencies are putting every effort to build an impression of success for the visit of Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) president Manjit Singh GK's visit to the United Kingdom regarding his claimed purpose of visit – i.e. to win over the Sikh hardliners.
It is learnt that the a ten member delegation of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is on a seven day special purpose visit the United Kingdom and Dubai. The delegation led by DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK has reportedly been specially sent by the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), also called Badal Dal, led by Sukhbir Singh Badal and his father Parkash Singh Badal with a 'special task' to convince the Sikh diaspora, or in the terms of terminology used by Manjit Singh GK and the Badal Dal – to the Sikh separatists, towards (so-called) Indian Nationalist ideology.

Canada (September 09, 2013): It is learnt that various Sikh organizations have recently held an important meeting in wake of plans of Punjab's ruling party Badal Dal to hold a conference in Canada. The meeting that was attended by various Sikh organizations of Canada unanimously resolved to boycott the Badal Dal's meeting. The Sikh diaspora organizations have demanded explanation on various issues from the Badal Dal leaders who are currently visiting Canada.
