London, United Kingdom (July 02, 2013): In a recent press release, the United Khalsa Dal (UKD), a UK based Sikh body, has demanded arrest of former Punjab police chief KPS Gill.
In a news video clip aired by Day and Night News, that was put on TV’s YouTube channel, a Sub-Inspector named Surjit Singh declared that he was promoted from the post of constable to SHO by the SSP Parmjit Singh Gill, who is now posted at Ludhaina as Police Commissioner.
In it’s statement, sent to Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) the UKD general secretary Loveshinder Singh Dallewal has said that the culprit police officers like KPS Gill and Paramjit Singh Gill, who ordered innocent killings, should be arrested.
UKD general secretary said that it shall approach embassies/high commissions of various countries with a list of about 200 police officers who were indulged in mass level human rights abuses in Punjab.
“We shall urge various countries to deny entry to these police officers whose hands are red with blood of innocent”, Dallewal said.
