US tells India for a no-fly zone over Rajpath during Barack Obama’s visit

New Delhi: Media reports says that US President Barack Obama’s security teams has suggested Indian government to impose no-fly zone over Rajpath on the January 26 in wake of Obama’s visit to New Delhi. Indian government has reportedly “rejected” the suggestion.

As per information Barack Obama’s security team had asked New Delhi to impose a 5-km ‘no-fly-zone’ around Rajpath during the 26 January parade for which he is the chief guest.

Reports say the advance team of US secret service had also sought the closure of Central Delhi and Delhi-Agra Highway for three days during President Obama’s visit to India. The US President will be in Indian subcontinent from January 25-27.
