New Delhi: Vikram Singh Dhanaula, who was on continuous hunger strike, for last many days reportedly ended his hunger strike today on the assurance of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders that the culprits of November 1984 Sikh genocide will be prosecuted and punished.
Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhai Baldeep Singh said that after intense deliberations and consultations, Aam Aadmi Party gave requisite assurances to Vikram Singh Dhanaula that justice will be sought and at the earliest.
A post by AAP says Bhai Baldeep Singh reached Jantar Mantar at 3:30PM (on February 12) with the message from the CM-designate, Arvind Kejriwal’s office. AAP MLA from Malviya Nagar Somnath Bharti, Bhai Baldeep Singh and Parminder Singh Gill gave assurances in writing to Vikram Singh Dhanaula. As a result he declared to end his fast unto death.
