Chandigarh: A Punjabi news channel ‘ABP Sanjha’ yesterday announced shut down after it failed to get space over FastWay a cable tv network controlled by Punjab’s ruling regime. ABP Sabha, a venture of ABP (Abhinav Bharti Patrika), was started in 2012.
ABP Sanjha had requested space over FastWay – the largest Cable TV network in Punjab. The channel was available on ‘Dish’ but it was not provided space over cable tv network.
ABP Sanjha’s head of human resource department, Satyaki Bhattacharya, made an announcement that the channel all operations of ABP Sanjha were shut down.
Earlier Day and Night news channel had announced to limit it’s operations after the FastWay cable network refused to accommodate the channel over cable network in Punjab.
