Amritsar, Punjab (October 20, 2013): It is learnt that Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh has taken strict notice of Lakha, a self-styled godman of Rajasthan’s 8 LLB near Pili Banga. Lakha has been equating himself with the Sikh Guru Sahibs.

“When the issue reached Akal Takht Sahib I went to Hanumangarh to warn people against his defamatory propaganda against the Sikh Guru Sahib,” said Giani Gurbachan Singh. He said that president of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee, Balbir Singh, along with his team went to Lakha Singh’s village and have procured sufficient proof in the form of CDs and photographs featuring Lakha misleading gullible people on the names of the Sikh Gurus and equating himself with them.

He said that he himself had talked to SSP, Hanumangarh who had assured to take required action.

He said the Akal Takht would summon Lakha Singh at Akal Takht for taking religious action against him.

In a video available on YouTube Lakha could be seen as equating himself to Guru Nanak Sahib and Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He said that his name as Guru Nanak has been published on boards and CDs are also made (in this regard).

PLEASE NOTE: Sikh Siyasat posses Photos and Video clip confirming that Lakha’s activities are highly blasphemous and intolerable but we have decided not to share that on on our site or Facebook Page because this may lead to indirectly indulging in distribution of blasphemous material.
