Malout, Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister had to face embarrassment during a Dasehra function at Malout as a youth took to sloganeering against Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. Parkash Singh Badal was in Malout to preside over a function held on the occasion of Hindu festival Dasehra.

The youth was seated in the front row opposite the stage where CM Paraksh Singh Badal and others were sitting. He alleged a false criminal case was registered against him recently at the behest of the Badal Dal leaders. He was immediately detained by the police and whisked away.

It is notable that a youth from Dhanaula had hurled a shoe towards CM Badal during a state level function on 15 August at Issru.
