London (December 03, 2010): A UK based Sikh Organization, United Khalsa Dal, has requested British High Commission to ban the entry of various present and former police officers of Punjab, who are alledged violators of Human Rights.UKD has sent a list of police officers to the officials of British High Commission in India. UKD has claimed that these persons have killed thousands of innocent Sikhs and got rewarded with higher ranking positions. “Some of them are reverted to their previous rank by The Punjab and Haryana High Court” adds the letter.
These persons indulged in commission of various acts during 1980s and 90s that amount to “Crimes against Humanity” under international law, informed UKD General Secretary, Loveshinder Singh Dallewal.
United Khalsa Dal has requested to Visa Section of British High Commission to consider this matter and take action to refuse their entry to the United Kingdom. Canada has recently denied entry to such tainted police officials and we have requested UK to do so. International community must take such steps and force India to proceed against those who have committed heinous crimes against humanity.
