Firozepur, Punjab (May 16, 2014): First result for Lok Sabha Elections 2014 in Punjab has been declared.
Sher Singh Ghubaya of Punjab’s ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) secured 4,87,932 votes defeated Sunil Jathar of Indian National Congress (INC) with 31,420 votes. Sunil Jathak secured 4,56,512 votes.
Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Satnam Paul Kamoj secured 1,13,412 votes.
As per counting trends Bhartiya Janta Party is leading on 2 seats in Punjab. Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) is leading on 3 seats (excluding 1 won).
Indian National Congress is leading on 3 seats.
Aam Aadmi Party is leading on 4 seats in Punjab.
