New Delhi, India (September 08, 2014): More than two weeks after the Indian authorities called off foreign secretary level meet with Pakistan, India’s Minister of External Affairs, Sushma Swaraj, accuses Pakistan for allegedly derailing dialogue process. Indian Foreign Secretary Sujatha Singh, who was supposed to meet her Pakistani counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhury on August 25, but India called off talks on August 18 taking a plea that why Pakistan envoy held meetings with pro-freedom Kashmiri leaders?
While blaming Pakistan for “derailing” the dialogue process, Sushma Swaraj, however, said there is “no full stop” in diplomatic relations and people always move forward after the short pauses, indicating that there may be a window for resumption of talks in near future.

Indian minister again raised question regation rationale behind Pakistan holding talks with Kashmiri leaders.
The external affairs minister of India said this was not “too much” to accept from Pakistan that it should not interfere in the internal matters of India. However, when asked about future strategy in dealing with Pakistan, she said “there is no full stop in diplomacy, it’s always comas and semi colon. And after all this, people always move forward. There are no full stops in diplomatic journey.”
According to media reports when asked that: if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi would meet his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif on the sideline of UN general assembly in New York later this month, Sushma Swaraj reportedly said it would depend on how the situation will emerge in coming days and they were not going with any “preset mind” there.
Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chief Yasin Malik had blamed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for adopting “hardline” approach on Kashmir and further that Modi’s approach was to be blame for the stalling of Indo-Pak foreign secretary-level talks.
