Srinagar: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reiterated Indian state’s claim that ‘occupied’ region of Kashmiri was integral part of India. Addressing media persons before concluding his two day visit to Kashmir Rajnath Singh claimed that the decision of resisting Kashmiri leadership to not to meet Indian Parliamentary Delegation shows they do not believe in ‘Kashmiriyat’, ‘insaniyat’ and ‘jamhooriyat’.
Indian Home Minsiter said it had been made clear that those people set aside the three principles for which Kashmir is known. “It is clear that they do not believe in Kashmiriyat, insaniyat and jamhooriyat.”

Rajnath said the decision of some of the Parliament members to meet pro-freedom Kashmiri leaders was their own. He also referred to his tweet before embarking on his second visit to Kashmir last month that the doors were open for those who believe in these three principles.
“Kashmir was, is and will remain an integral part of India”, the Home Minister said. “I want to make it clear that not only our doors but the windows are also open for talks,” Singh said. He said Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti invited separatists for talks to end the ongoing unrest in Kashmir, but they refused to budge.
The Home Minister said the all-party delegation had discussions with leaders of political parties, civil society, university teachers and Vice-Chancellors, fruit growers, students and some intellectuals. The delegation comprising 26 members from 20 political parties had meetings with over 30 delegates comprising 300 people since Sunday.
