Narendra Modi shows dreams to India’s poor

New Delhi (June 12, 2014): Showing dreams of empowering the poor of Indian state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the NDA government was committed to lowering prices and see to it that no one sleeps hungry in the country.


Addressing the Parliament, Narendra Modi said his government was sincerely committed to bringing down prices and that it was their collective responsibility to ensure nobody sleeps hungry.

Modi whose Gujrat model is seems as “pro-corporates” laid stress on government being “pro-poor” and working toward eliminating of poverty in the country.

“We will empower the poor to enable them to fight poverty and come out of it”, Modi said while addressing the Lok Sabha.

He also pointed out the need for rural infrastructure and agriculture to eliminate poverty and control price rise in the country.

Country needs real-time data on agri products to deal with price rise, he said.

Assuring that the government will fulfill the promises made in the President’s speech, he also assured that his government would provide 24×7 electricity supply to the whole country.
