Punjab’s ruling parties protesting against their own failures: AAP leader HS Phoolka

Ludhiana, Punjab: Terming the recent decision of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) to launch protests and counter protests against the rising drug menace in Punjab as a total charade, Aam Aadmi Party leader Advocate Harwinder Singh Phoolka said that this shows that the both the ruling parties are totally clueless about this problem and have no concrete plan what so ever to deal with this disease that is eating into the very fabric of Punjabi society.

Advocate HS Phoolka

HS Phoolka said that it is the first time in Indian history that the parties in power are protesting their own failures and it shows that both the SAD & BJP are accepting that they have not only failed to check this problem but are now trying to confuse and befool the people of the state and the country by blaming each other for this failure. Both Mr. Amit Shah and Sukhbir Badal are well aware of their inability and complacency in this matter, either they do not have the will or are deliberately trying to shield the real culprits.

It is a matter of great concern and shame that the parties in power are making a mockery of the state’s ability to deal with this cancer which has destroyed a whole generation of the state’s youth. In the absence of a structured plan to deal this problem both the parties are now playing a blame game which will not solve anything. Instead of indulging in such useless exercises it would help if they formulate definitive strategy to combat this problem, instead of indulging in useless public relation stunts.
