A gathering titled Panthic Assembly was called by a committee of comprising Advocate Jaswinder Singh, Advocate Navkiran Singh, Giani Kewal Singh, Sukhdev Singh Bhaur, Prof. Jagmohan Singh and Kanwarpal Singh. The assembly was called in Amritsar on October 21 and 22.
