Sucha Singh Chhotepur begins one day hunger protest in Chandigarh against Land Acquisition Bill

Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur started one day hunger strike protest in Chandigarh today against Land Acquisition Bill. Terming the bill anti-farmer, AAP convener said debt-ridden farmers were already committing suicide in the state. He alleged that the anti-farmer policies of the successive Union government were responsible for the poor financial condition of the farmers in the country.

He said that the future course of action would be decided after consulting the central leadership of the party. Sucha Singh Chhotepur said AAP would not let farmers suffer due to wrong policies of the Union government.
