Sukhbir Badal in his excuse to the Chairman, Justice Ranjit Singh (retd) has reportedly said  the “present commission is headed by a known Congressman who is a friend of Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.”

Furthermore, he maintained that he has not received the original communication “for which the reminder, now, had been sent”.  Moreover, he stated that he did not even know the questions in the original one. The SAD (Badal) told the Chairman to “recuse yourself from chairing the commission,” notes The Tribune (TT) in its report.
