New Delhi, India: US President Barack Obama has reportedly accepted invitation by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be ‘Chief Guest’ on India’s ‘republic day’ on 26 Januar 2015. Media reports says that Obama would be the first US President to attend India’s republic day celebration as ‘Chief Guest’.

Modi tweeted that he has extended invitation to the US president to join 26 January celebrations as Chief Guest. US President’s press secretary later confirm that the Barack Obama has accepted Modi’s invitation.
