DSGMC Elections: SikhiSidak urges Delhi Sikhs to vote for deserving candidates, above party considerations

Delhi, India (January 12, 2013): SikhiSidak, a proclaimed non-profit and non-political organization for the service of humanity that is working towards empowerment of youth, has issued a press release making a declaration that:

“With respect to upcoming Delhi Sikh Management Committee Election (DSGMC) on January 27, 2013, please note that SikhiSidak as an organization neither participating nor supporting any party or an individual”.

“Though SikhiSidak strongly urge all Sikh Voters to cast your valuable vote for a deserving candidate for better management of our Gurudwara Sahibs/ Educational & other Institutions, so that candidate selected should work as “Sewadar” and not “Jathedar”, for Chardikala of Sikh Panth” the statement by SikhiSidak reads further.

It is notable that Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) is a statutory body formed to manage the affiars historic Sikh Gurudwaras located in and around Delhi. It’s board of members is elected by registered voters. DSGMC elections are going to be held on January 27, 2013.
