Amritsar, Punjab (July 31, 2012): As per media reports the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Commtitee (SGPC) has suspended Jasbir Singh Ahluwalia, vice chancellor of Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, on charges of irregularities on Tuesday. Certain media sections have quoted SGPC General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Bhaur saying that "J. S. Ahluwalia is suspended on charge of committing various irregularities and charge-sheet would be served to him soon ".

Beas, Punjab (July 30, 2012): On the evening of July 28, 2012 a TV journalist was attacked by dera radha swami (Beas) men while he was talking to resident of Village Jodhan. On the evening of July 29, 2012 Manmohan Singh, SP (HQ) visited the spot where the incident had taken place and recovered camera-mic with Sangat TV logo and some personal belongings of Baljeet Singh that were left left on the day of incident when dera mob comprising around more than two hundred armed men attacked the reporter.

Ludhiana (July 30, 2012): Harish Khare, a senior Indian journalist and former media advisor to the Prime Minister of India has made serious comments about Kuldip Nayar and his journalism. In a write-up titled: "Scoops, And Vanishing Cream" that has appeared in "Outlook" Magazine's current issue, Harish Khare says that "A great reporter, Nayar is also a regular flouter of objectivity, and a prime circulator of bogus, juicy gossip".
Pataudi, Haryana (July 28, 2012): While investigation into the Killings of Sikhs at Village Hondh-Chillar has yet to begin and Within days of Justice Garg’s visit to village Hondh-Chillar, All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) have unearthed another Sikh Genocide site at Haily Mandi - Pataudi, Haryana where more than 28 Sikhs were killed in systematic, organized and well planned attack during November 1984.
Baba Bakala, Punjab (July 30, 2012): A tragic rail-shcool bus accident near Baba Bakala has claimed five students. As per reports a speeding mini local train rammed into their school bus at an unmanned railway crossing at Kot Mehtab Singh village near here this morning.
Rayya, Punjab (July 30, 2012): Ominous news reports have been received from Rayya, Punjab where a school bus is reported to have collided with a rail. Initial reports available with Sikh Siyasat suggest that there were approximately 20-25 school children in the school bus and deaths are feared. There is no confirmation as regards death toll as incident has taken place a short while ago.

Bawa, editor of YesPunjab.Com has release a news report providing extensive inforamtion regardig attack on Sangat TV (UK) crew members by Radha Swami Dera men. The men of Radha Soami Dera at Beas, which preaches non-violence, attacked the crew of Sangat TV at village Jodhe near Beas in the district of Amritsar. However, both the members of the crew were lucky enough to escape the attack.

Baljeet Singh, reporter of Sangat TV was at village Jodhan to cover the destruction of land of village residents. He was talking to village resident when a mob of dera followers assaulted them.
Chandigarh (July 27, 2012): The hearing of a public interest litigation (PIL) seeking removal of Sumedh Singh Saini as DGP of Punjab continues in Punjab and Haryana High Court. This petition is moved by NGO named Voices for Freedom (VFF). In recent hearing in the court the VFF counsel countered the allegations levelled by the state government against VFF and told the court that CBI had registered a case of murder and abduction against Sumedh Saini.
Chandigarh (July 28, 2012): As per media reports the Dera Sauda Sirsa (DSS) chief, Gurmeet Ram Raheem was arrayed as a respondent in a petition filed by former Dera follower alleging castration of 400 sadhus on the directions of Raheem. The Dera Chief has been issued notices by the Punjab and Haryana High Court asking him to respond by October 10.

As per recent reports a United States Process Server (USPS) has affirmed through an affidavit before US Federal Court that the delivery of summons and complaint to the Central Authority of India was completed.
