Dabwali, Punjab (February 25, 2014): In July 2013 a Sirsa Court sentenced seven Sikhs to undergo seven years imprisonment each in a 2008 case related to clash between Dera Sauda Sirsa followers and the Sikh sangat. Bhai Harmandar Singh Dabwali was killed by dera followers on 18 July 2008, following which some shops of Dera Sauda Sirsa followers were allegedly burnt by agitated Sikhs.
Singapore (February 25, 2014): An 82-year-old Sikh has been honoured for his outstanding volunteer service in Singapore. On February 21, Surjan Singh received the Ministry of Social and Family Development Volunteers Awards for helping some 60 boys, mostly involved in petty crimes such as theft.
Italy (February 25, 2014): As per certain media reports a Sikh youth in Italy has been fined €23,000 (around 19.6 lakh rupees) by a court here for not removing his Kirpan.

These police personnel had not fulfilled their duties and instead illegally disposed of thousand of bodies of Sikhs in an inhumane way.
