New Delhi, India (June 13, 2014): It is learnt that the Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal today met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Badal reportedly demanded the setting up of a special committee to investigate the November 1984 violence against the Sikhs.
“The people want to know who was behind it. India should be made clear about it.” Badal reportedly said.
As per media reports Parkash Singh Badal also said that there was a need to seal the India-Pakistan border in Punjab to thwart the smuggling of drugs.
