American Justice Center (AJC) offers $10,000 reward for service of summons on Narendra Modi

New York, USA: American Justice Center (AJC) has announce $10,000 reward for service of summons to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently visiting the United States of America. The summons were issued by a US Federal Court in a lawsuit filed by American Justice Center and two victims-cum- survivors of the Gujrat Mulim Massacre of 2002.

The plaintiffs in their plaint accused Narendra Modi for committing “crimes against humanity” besides torture and other international crimes. Narendra Modi was chief minister of Gujrat state in India in 2002 when around two thousand members of Muslim minority were massacred in a phase of genocidal violance.

AJC has offered a reward of $10,000 to anyone who could serve him with the court summons.

New York-based legal advisor Gurpatwant Singh Pannun told reporters here on Friday that American Justice Centre (AJC) is offering a reward of $10,000 to anyone who will serve the summons on Modi during his various public engagements in the city over the period of next two days.

The reward will be given to the person who serves the summons and brings a pictorial and video proof that the summons have been served.

The group has also hired process servers to serve the summons.

The group said that service in the lawsuit in being governed under the New York State laws, which provide that the service can be accomplished from a distance of even 10 feet and “papers can be thrown” over the individual concerned.
