Sikh sangat marks Gurta Gaddi day of Guru Hargobind Ji

Amritsar, Punjab: Thousands of Sikh devotees marked the ‘Gurta Gadhi Diwas’ of sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Hargobind ji at Darbar Sahib, Amritsar on May 11.
Sikh Devotees took a ‘Ishnan’ at Amritsar Sarovar and paid their respects to Guru Hargobind at Darbar Sahib and Akal Takhat Sahib.
Special decorations were made at Darbar Sahib on this occasion
A press release by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee notes that the Darbar Sahib complex decorated with beautiful lights on the occasion and fireworks illuminated the night sky.
Sri Sukhmani Sewa Society organized a Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Bibi Kaulan Ji (Kaulsar) from 3 pm to 11 pm in coordination with SGPC on this occasion.
Akal Takhat Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh shared with message with the Sikh sangat on this occasion and also shared history of Akal Takhat Sahib and battles of Guru Hargobind Ji.
