Police enters Bapu Surat Singh house; Sukhjit Singh Khosa arrested

Hassanpur: The punjab police reportedly entered Bapu Surat Singh’s house to arrest Sikh activists.

“Police andar jabri enter ho gaye hai ate Singha nu arrest kar sakdi hai. Sukhjeet Singh Khosa Di girftaari Di news mile hai” (Police has entered and may arrest Singhs. News about arrest of Sukhjeet Singh Khosa is received), reads a post of official Facebook page of Bapu Surat Singh’s struggle for Sikh political prisoners.

Sources present inside Bapu Surat Singh’s house told Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone that the police has arrested Satikar Committee leader Sukhjit Singh Khosa and others.

They said that police has not so far arrested Bapu Surat Singh but there is likelihood that police may arrest him.

More details were awaited at the time of writing this report.
