Chandigarh: Former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh has dismissed the allegations levelled against him in a complaint to the US Attorney General by a US based activists group Sikhs for Justice. SFJ has accused former Punjab CM of having protected and promoted the police officers who were involved in mass level human rights violations.
Capt Amarinder maintained that the particular complaint was totally motivated and has been prompted at the behest of certain vested interests and political parties in Punjab which do not want him to visit the US.
He also said that the complaint was a “cheep publicity stunt”.
“Let me reiterate that I am continuing with my North America tour come what may”, he reiterated.
