2017 Election War has begun: Sukhbir Badal at Bathinda Sadbhawna Rally

Bathinda: Punjab’s Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal, who is also the president of ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), today announced the “beginning” of 2017 Punjab assembly election “War”. Congress, Captain Amrinder Singh and Partap Singh Bajwa should understand that the war for 2017 Punjab assembly elections has begun today, Sukhbir Badal announced during while addressing the gathering at Bathinda.

Sukhbir Badal challenged Capt. Amrinder Singh to hold a similar rally in Bathinda. “I challenge Capt. Amrinder Singh to hold a rally like this here” said SAD (Badal) president while adding that if Capt. Amarinder Singh had guts he should come to the rally spot and face him.

Sukhbir Badal’s speech was focussed on counting ‘achievements’ of the Badal government, praising his father and Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal and calling upon people to “re-elect” the Badal government in upcoming 2017 elections.

After ending his speech and sharing “fateh” with the gathering, Sukhbir Badal re-took to the mic to raise the slogans related to 2017 assembly elections in favour of SAD (Badal). He raised slogans “Whose will come to power after 2017 elections?” and wanted the people to respond with slogans in favour of SAD (Badal).

Speaking after Sukhbir Badal Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal offered a clarification that the issue of the rally was not the upcoming 2017 elections.
