Ludhiana: As per the media reports number of politicians cutting across the party lines attended the bhog ceremony of slain RSS leader Ravinder Gosain who was shot dead by unidentified persons a few days back.
Grandson of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh and Congress Member Parliament from Ludhiana Ravneet Bittu handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the slain leader’s family members on behalf of the Punjab government.
Furthermore, Ravneet Bittu while interacting with mediapersons again claimed that Gosain’s murder is apart of a ploy of pro-freedom activists based in Pakistan and Canada to destroy peace and communal harmony in the state. He said the state government would not let this happen at any cost.
The case has been transferred to the India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA), he adds. “Thanking family members for reposing their trust in the state government. He also said one of his family members would receive the appointment letter for a government job next week,” he further adds to his statement.
