Wisconsin Sikh Gurudwara terror strike victim Punjab Singh still in coma

Milwaukee/Wisconsin (August 31, 2012): Bhai Punjab Singh, who was seriously injured during August 5 terror strike on Sikh Gurudwara Sahib in Wisconsin USA, hasn’t regained consciousness since the incident. He remains in coma and he is hooked up to a machine to help him breathe, his family says.

It is notable that Bhai Punjab Singh was among four people wounded in Aug. 5 attack. The terror strike by a White supremacist had claimed life of six (6) Sikhs. In this incident Bhai Seeta Singh (Granthi), Bhai Parkash Singh (Granthi), Bhai Ranjit Singh (Raagee), Satwant Singh Kaleka (President of the Gurdwara), Subegh Singh (Sangat member) and Parmjit Kaur Toor (Sangat member) were killed by terror striker named Wade M. Page who is reported to have killed himself after being shot by the police during the incident.

According to media reports Bhai Punjab Singh’s sons said they rushed from India to be with their father after the shooting, and now spend most of their waking hours at the Milwaukee hospital where Bhai Punab Singh remains in a coma.

“It’s hard, but we are just trusting in God now,” Bhai Punjab Singh’s older son, Raghuvinder Singh, told is reported to have told The Associated Press in an exclusive interview on August 29, 2012 at the temple where the shooting happened.
