Jalandhar, Punjab (October 30, 2013): It is learnt that on October 29, 2013 some Shiv Sena activists attempted to remove the hoardings of “Freedom and Justice March” at Jyoti Chowk Jalandhar. The “Freedom and Justice March” is to be held on November 01 in the Jalandhar city by various Sikh Organizations.
As per information local Sikh Sangat foiled the attempt of Shiv Sena workers and staged a protest dharna demanding action against the miscreants who attempted to tense the situation by attempting to remove the hoardings affixed by the Sikh organizations.
“This march is being jointly organized by Akali Dal Panch Pardhani (ADPP) and the Dal Khalsa to mark the 29th anniversary of the Sikh genocide 1984” Bhai Harpal Singh Cheema, acting president of ADPP told the Sikh Siyasat News (SSN) over phone. He appealed to the Sikh sangat to join the march that will begin at 11 am on November 01 from Model Town Gurdwara Sahib (in Jalandhar).
