Jammu/ India (October 31, 2013): It is learnt that the National Sikh Front (NSF) today held a protest here against Congress leaders for their involvement in the brutal genocidal massacres of innocent Sikhs following the assassination of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on October 31, 1984.
Led by its chairman S Varinderjeet Singh, the activists held a protest in Digiana area of Jammu and demanded severe punishment for those Congress leaders who were involved in the attacks on Sikhs.
“The wide perception, not totally wrong, that government has played a direct or indirect role in doing everything to protect those who were responsible for it,” Varinderjeet Singh reportedly said.
“We appeal to the people of this country to come together to help us get justice,” he added.
