Ludhiana, Punjab: Former P.C.S officer and Dalit author A. R. Darshi, who also wrote a book on Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale, reportedly passed away at Ludhiana. A Facebook post by Sikh Youth of Punjab, posted on May 22, says the author of The Gallant Defender (Jaabaz Rakha) has passed away. He was living at his Malihar Cinema Road based residence in Ludhiana.
“A. R. Darshi had received heartiest respect from the Sikh people for bravely writing a book on Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale” read Sikh Youth of Punjab’s statement.

It is notable that former PCS officer had written a book titled “The Gallant Defender” on Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale, great Sikh martyr of 20th century. His book on Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa was translated in to Punjab under the title of “Janbaaz Rakha”. He also authored a book titled Shudras – the lost glory”.
