AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal Kejriwal promises promises ‘holy city’ status for Amritsar if AAP assumes power

Amritsar: Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal has announced to grant Sri Amritsar and Anandpur Sahib the status of ‘holy cities’ in case his party was voted to power in the state.

The Delhi Chief Minister, who is on a visit to Punjab, said was talking to media persons after paying obeisance at Darbar Sahib in Amritsar on September 09.

He said that the fight for making Punjab free from drugs and corruption had reached its decisive turn.
Kejriwal said he intended to make the walled city area of Amritsar completely liquor-free, where no non-vegetarian items would be sold.
