AAP Leader Advocate H S Phoolka Mourns The Demise Of Punjab CM Amarinder Singh’s Mother

Chandigarh: Senior leader of the Punjab unit of the Aam Adami Party and former leader of opposition in Punjab state assembly Advocate H S Phoolka has here today expressed grief and mourned the death of Mata Mohinder Kaur mother of Punjab CM Amarinder Singh.

In a press note issued by Advocate Phoolka in which he has stated that ”the demise of Mata Mohinder Kaur, a veteran Parliamentarian and last queen of Patiala is an irreparable loss to the society.” Her contribution to society is unparalleled and she will be long remembered for her charitable traditions of her family, Mr. Phoolka said.
She remained assiduous in matters of tradition and religious observance and often granted audience to ladies until advanced age and ill-health prevented exertion. Her piety and charity made her a cultural icon not only in Patiala but in Punjab, he adds.
