Jalandhar, Punjab (March 10, 2014): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today released its 4th list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections. This list carries names of 61 candidates, including three more candidates from Punjab.
Punjabi comedian Bhagwant Mann has been fielded from the Sangrur seat in Punjab. Bhagwant had recently resigned from Manpreet Badal led People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) and joined AAP, after Manpreet Badal had joined hands with the Congress party.
However, the surprise in context with Punjab is the announcement of Sucha Singh Chhotepur as a candidate from Gurdaspur. He was till now a Congressman and has not announced his resignation from the party so far.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced the name of Prof. Sadhu Singh as candidate for Faridkot (SC) seat.
The party has also fielded Tehelka journalist and gulail.com founder Ashish Khetan from the New Delhi seat. It has already fielded TV journalist Ashutosh from Chandni Chowk and Journalist Jarnail Singh from West Delhi seat.
AAP has already announced Advocate Harvinder Singh Phoolka as it’s candidate from Ludhaina seat.
