Advo Amar Singh Presenting His View Over Misuse Of UAPA In Punjab To Crush Political Dissent

Chandigarh: A discussion on “Human Rights and Special Laws” at Kisan Bhawan, Chandigarh was held on December 9, 2017. This event was dedicated to Human Rights Day which is observed annually to mark anniversary of adoption of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Various lawyers, human rights activists and victims of misuse of UAPA took part in this discussion which was focused on use of UAPA in Punjab.

In this video Advocate Amar Singh Chahal explained that how the laws and legal processes were being misused by the State to decimate political dissent and just struggle of the people of the state. All this was the direct outcome of crubbling politcal system of the state of Punjab he further said.
