Chandigarh: A discussion on “Human Rights and Special Laws” at Kisan Bhawan, Chandigarh was held on December 9, 2017. This event was dedicated to Human Rights Day which is observed annually to mark anniversary of adoption of Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Various lawyers, human rights activists and victims of misuse of UAPA took part in this discussion which was focussed on use of UAPA in Punjab.
In this video Advocate Navkiran Singh explained that how the UAPA is being misused against Sikhs in Punjab, as been used as a tool of repression in the past as well.
